Dwarves are very friendly and prefer to stick together. After all, together is not only more fun but also much safer. The lands of Eridan are beautiful, but as befits a spontaneous nature, they are dangerous for a carefree adventurer.

So it is better, of course, to get a reliable companion. And if there are four of them, then consider that absolutely any case is already done.

The Fend is the smallest unit of the Dwarven army, consisting of two shield-bearers with axes, a spearman and two crossbowmen. There are in general five brave warriors ready to cover each other’s backs at any moment.

You can often find useful supplies in the fields and forests of Eridan. But it’s too dangerous to go alone. But a fend of 5 dwarves is enough to harvest safely.

Where to find the right companions, you ask? Oh, my friend, a true comrade-in-arms is known in battle! Of course, you can always measure the length of your beard in a tavern and find like-minded dwarfs, but the surest way is to go down to the Chasm or open a dwarfpack or just mint. And remember that dwarves are not only fighting brothers to each other, they will always cover your back, give a hand if you fall, hit the table with a beer mug to toast, and support you with a joke in a trying times.
